Human Resources Manager
Individualized Apparel Group is seeking a Human Resources Manager in their Perth Amboy, NJ custom dress shirt facility.
Candidate will manage, direct and evaluate the organization’s policies related to recruitment, training, employee turnover/retention, performance management and safety compliance as assigned. Exercise good judgment and use proper methods for problem investigation/resolution. Comply with all regulating agencies and other applicable standards in development of policies. Strong knowledge required in state and federal labor law, and general human resources concepts as well as collective bargaining agreements; strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral, written & formal presentation). Candidate must be able to recommend improvements to HR policies, benefits and training programs. Should have the ability to respond and be persuasive with all levels of the organization in order to initiate/lead change. Must have the ability to manage multiple tasks, projects, and high stress situations simultaneously. Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus.
